Shivers Reunion

And then He created MAN and WOMAN, who then, by God's
decree, began to multiply and replenish the earth. As the earth's
population grew, people scattered to literally every corner
of the earth. Therefore, it became necessary for the members
of a family to have what is now called a "Reunion" every year
or so, just to keep up with one another, share happenings, etc. So,
on July 15, 2000, that is what we, the Shivers Family, did.

Like most Americans, our family heritage is very diverse and
vague; however, I will list below the names of the Shivers
family members as far back as I can. Much thanks to Odis
Wilson Shivers who did much research work on the SHIVERS.

in Jones Co., GA; among their children was a daughter,

Sturdivant, daughter of John Sturdivant on Dec. 4, 1843.

Note: When news of Barney's death reached his father,

beautiful home of Steve and Denise Shivers in McDonough,

It was such a wonderful day, and we are so thankful
for each one that was present, and we missed greatly the ones who
couldn't be there. We are truly blessed that our family is a Christian

Savior, Jesus Christ, and look for His guidance each new day!
