About Us

Edwards Realty and Investments, Inc. has been serving com-
mercial property investors since 1985, specializing in
Florida motel and hotel properties. Our Company is a family-
run business which began initially in 1985 with Johnny and
Carole Edwards, husband and wife who have been married
for 40 years. Johnny, who has been in commercial real
estate for 26 years, had a cardiac arrest 8 years ago & was
hospitalized for over a month, during which time people from
all over the country in homes, churches, and businesses
prayed for him; and God miraculously healed him! He has
now returned full-time to our business doing mostly tele-
phone work and offering his invaluable advice to the rest
of us! We attend a wonderful church, Riverbend Community
Church where Johnny served in the Banner Ministry and carried
a banner called "Savior" in our Church's Passion Play--some-
thing Carole had, by faith, envisioned him doing even when he
was very sick--not expected to live after he had his cardiac
arrest. God truly did exchange Johnny's weak, inefficient heart
for a strong, healthy one. But, in case you don't know it, God has

Carole is our Broker, photographer, brochure-maker, "paper-
person" and webmster. Carole is also a mortgage broker and
works with many lenders to get financing for the hotels
that we sell. Johnny and Carole have two adorable pekingeses
named Gizmo and Zoey seen at right with Zachary this Christmas.

Carole and Johnny's son, Jason Edwards, joined our Company
in 1989. Having managed a large oceanfront hotel for several
years, Jay specializes in hotel management and will assist a
buyer in the operation of their hotel if they are new to the business.
He is married to a wonderful, intelligent lady named Michelle,
who is an aerospace engineer. Jay has a 19-year old son named
Andrew, a 2-year old son named Chandler and 6-month old
daughter named Rhiannon.

Their other son, Zachary Edwards, joined the Company in
2002. Zachary has two daughters--Ashley, age 17 and Brittany,
age 15.

Recently, Johnny had the opportunity to meet his first-born
son from his first marriage, whom he hadn't seen in 35 years.

As a Transaction Broker (see Page 2 of our Customer
Agreement), we always strive to be fair and honest in all
transactions with both buyers and sellers. We try diligently
to match prospective buyers with the "right" motel for them
at a good price while also seeking to get the fair price that the
Seller deserves. We also help arrange for financing if necessary
through the many lenders with whom we have contact.
